quivering on my start line

My part time job ended last Wednesday. I scheduled to stop working on that day to get myself well armed with knowledge about the bank's products as well as its competitors'. So that leaves me with Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

As of today, I have yet to start working on my aforementioned motive. And somehow, I got a feeling I will be inadequately armed on my first day of work. For weekend seems quite jam packed with activities (read: hours and hours of sleep).

This wasn't a requisite set by the bank by the way; as in to report to work with full knowledge about it's products. Its just that, upon sizing up my fellow new batch of trainee bankers, I bet all of them have been wasting that 1 month at home reading up everything they need to know about the bank. Them are afterall, all eager and zealous by nature. I got a feeling I will be surrounded by flailing arms ( the kind that goes"I know! I know! pick me! pick me!) throughout my training session.

Just too bad I'm not a girl. Else, I could pull a 'damsel-in-distress,-eyes-wide-open,-head-tilted-down-45degrees-angle' kinda look. urrghh.
