Ok I am officially employed. Although work will commence on 2nd Oct. I took up the bank offer instead. With 26 (26!!!!!) days of leave, how can I not? haha.
But obviously that wasnt the impetus to the acception.
Did not turn up for the interview with the marketing company in the end. News has it, the amount of working hours does not commensurate to the pay. Thanks Lojia for that call, albeit at the 11th hour after i went thru all those mugging to prepare myself for the interview. But an ingrate i am not..so once again Thanks.
the 10 that got accepted for the banking post are mostly wide-eyed, fresh grads. Too zealous and earnest into what the working world has to offer. Questions were being asked thrown one after another. Case in point is when the HR mgr was briefing us about how work-related transport expenses can be claimed.
overtly eager boy: " does that mean I can claim my money for travelling to and from work everyday?"
My eyes rolled like as though it was going to drop off anytime soon at this point. Warlow! he thinks he's some expat who gets transport claims just for going to work is it? *shudders* Oh well, have to be nice. Afterall I have to be stuck for 2 or so months with them during training.
Ok that's about it, have to go and plan my 26 (26!!!!) days of leave...haha
