My Spring Getaway
Not too my surprise, i end up in Noosa with my hideous belching belly. So much for exercising.
So anyway, Mid term break commenced last saturday, embracing this welcoming change with much delight (so much so i flipped and somersault-ed). Reckon, it was that much needed break given the torrential amount of assignments loaded on me this semester.
term break kicked start with a party at Lionel's huge (make that mammoth-like) house in Gold Coast with games, booze and the oh so glorious food ( nasi lemak courtesy of Bjorn..CAN CRY!!). 2 eventful things happened.
1) the stove caught fire, breaking out into a blasting inferno (ok point exaggerated). But it was good enuff for everyone to drop their mouth watering nasi lemak to put out the fire or to look for an extinguisher (which was non-existant). Panic like hell!! Fire was finally put off with a wet blanket(i got a feeling its an expensive blanket) after much deliberation.
2) Kelvin got thrown into the pool. We played some games. Someone suggested that instead of drinking the person has to be thrown into the pool along with 2 other people that he has the liberty to choose from. So we all scramed to change into a proper 'throw-into-pool' attire. Blardy pussy Kelvin went to hide and ended up being the sole one thrown in. Took a freaking long time to find him (thats how big the house is)

Woke up feeling groggy. But it didnt deter my will for a really good trip. Left for sunshine coast after bidding farewell to the guys at strawberry farm.

Blardy long journey. We made some pit stop (for i have to shit!). Decided to give the Big Pineapple a go. Ain't much to do there, typical tourist attraction that charges monopolistic prices. So our journey continues

30 mins later, we finally reach our accommodation. Blardy hell! It was a blardy run downed towhouse with creaky floors and 1 pathetic dim-lit toilet that smelled like an indian (as kelvin puts it) with a run out of mill office. the accomodation has 3 establishments; wistari (which i first booked for but was changed due to additional no. of pax) costa bella (which i wanted but was fully booked) and malaluka (which was looks deceivingly good in the website). So we got out, forfeited our $120 arising from cancelation charges and settled for Noosa Accomodation which was so much better!! (kelvin goes: QUICK BEDS!!!)

The next day, we 'hiked' in the Noosa Nature Park along its coastal trek, where i was mesmerized by the picturesque landscape of the beaches. Got tired, turned around and headed for the beach. I wanted to blardy Kayak by the noosa river and enjoy the sights surrounding me. But blardy no one wanted to kayak with me. So we settled on surfing. But blardy wind was too strong, thus the waves weren't surf-able. Oh well, so we amused ourselves gallivanting by the beach and being scorched by the sun.

Ok larh, blardy lazy to type. All i can say is that Noosa is a beach town haven. The beach, various range of shopping stores, food (from your typical fish and chips to haute cuisines) and activities to occupy. Best is that there aint many tourist, rather aussies that flock up north. the bad? i wish we stayed longer. Noosa I LIKE!
